Human Resource (HR) Head Dr. Ian S. Tampan has strengthened the services for all personnel through health care, spiritual and physical enhancements, and social leisure activities.
Before school year starts, the HR office started implementing its services through a recollection which all personnel were able to leave temporarily behind the usual distractions they all face for a time long enough to allow relaxation and for an inner change to occur, which is the ongoing conversion of heart that is critical to deepening faith.
Personnel Annual Medical Check-up
Medical checkup is not only important for identifying an illness at an early stage, but also for maintaining everyone’s personal health, making one aware of current condition and giving the possibility to improve one’s lifestyle. As Dr. Tampan emphasized the responsibility of the HR office to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel, most especially the teachers who need to always remain capable and medically fit to teach.
The annual medical check-up includes urine test, measurements of heights and weight, blood pressure check, chest X-ray, blood test. For some personnel who have experience some heart problem, they were given the Electrocardiogram Test or ECG (or EKG).
The HR Office understands what their role is in meeting their responsibilities for the personnel’s well-being. Hence, Dr. Tampan has created programs with target objectives in his calendar, and are to be implemented this school year such as “Gagmay Kristohanong Katilingban” or GKK every Wednesdays to intensify spiritual formation, Foot Reflexology and Body Massage at least once a week to relieve stress, and the monthly Sports Fest to promote healthy lifestyle and to build strong bonds within the Michaelinian community.
