Vision The SMCC Information and Technology Department as a Christian center of advance learning in the field of personal computing and information technology envisions highly competent and competitive graduates. Mission As such, it commits itself to: Prepare students as graduates in the future, who are competent, responsible and competitive, and who have the ability to face any challenge in the field of Information Technology; Maintain the standard of quality and excellence and the relevance of the academic program that prepare graduates to meet the criteria required for future employment. To foster an academic environment, engineer innovative development and up-to-date technology-based trends to enhance a high degree of professionalism and excellence in the future graduates; and Harness in each student his/her personal assets to the optimum that as a graduate he/she will be a credible Christian, person, professional, citizen and leader.
Objectives To implementation the Ladderized Program as mandated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). To make SMCC-ICT Department as a leading Center of Information Technology in the locality, if not in the Region. To review and update its academic programs and upgrade its facilities and equipments regularly. To conduct seminars, symposia and field trips etc., as other warranted avenues for new and additional learning and/or knowledge. To establish and maintain linkages with other institutions and/or agencies here and abroad for the OJT of future graduates and for the mutual exchange of resources and/or benefits. To standardize the learning instructions and/or strategies. To ensure the integral growth of the students by integrating into the curriculum or academic programs, Christian teachings, spiritual or personal norms or practices or exercises.
