PTCA, Batch ’85 sponsor free med check-up |

Compendio Parents, Teachers, and Community Association (PTCA) and Batch 1985, the host batch of the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2010, sponsor the free medical check up and FBS count last November 28, 2009. The outreach program is one of the highlights during the 61st Foundation Anniversary of SMCC. This was organized through the efforts of the PTCA General Officers with Mrs. Jacqueline Constantino- Estrada, President, and Ms. Divina B. Compendio, Batch ’85 focal person. |

SMCC participates Araw ng Nasipit celeb |
|
by Roanne F. Espina Michaelinians did it again! For two years, Saint Michael College of Caraga joined the Araw ng Nasipit celebration. It bagged several awards and defended its titles in Spelling and Quiz Bee with Krizza Ivy Marrie A. Lagyap for Spelling and the team of Lagyap with Roanne F. Espina and Sween Khyzil Kney B. Plaza for the Quiz Bee respectively. They bested six other contestants from other secondary schools around the town. They were coached by Ms. Divina B. Compendio (Spelling) and Mrs. Glenda L. Bacong (Quiz Bee). For the other contests, Ronica P. Chung got the first place in Oratorical. Chung delivered an original piece composed by her trainer Mr. Roy V. Semine. While the team of Lagyap, Michael A. Laroda and Janelle O. Daruca were second placers in the Math Olympiad. The Elementary pupils also did their best and got Second Place in Folkdance and Quiz Bee. Other credits for SMCC were second placers in Folkdance.
