A fter the annual Executive Student Government (ESG) elections and careful deliberation of the academic committee, newly-elected officers for the Supreme Student Government (SSG), Citizenship Training Program (CTP), Pre-Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (Pre-ROTC) officers were officially welcomed during the Oath taking and Transfer of Power on February 21, 2020.

Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School students who will now lead their department’s student body for the academic year 2020-2021 took their oaths with Msgr. Bienvinido A. Betaizar presiding.

Sebastian Mory Doyon (Elementary Department), Gwen Louise Quintila (Junior High School), and Kian Dale Alacre (Senior High School) delivered their speeches after they took their oaths as ESG Presidents. They will lead alongside their respective ESG officers for next school year.

One of the highlights of this annual event is the announcement of the CTP and ROTC officers as spectators gather in excitement. After weeks of undergoing initiation, training and interviews, cadets bagged their well-deserved ranks. For SY 2020-2021, the CTP Battalion Commander (Junior High School) is Llloyd Bernasol, for the Pre-ROTC (Senior High School) is Janaiah Allyson Gonzales.

The Silent Drill of the out coming CTP officers catapulted the turnover ceremony as cadets perform and showcase their tactical skills in a synchronized and well-rehearsed way without the use of vocal commands. It has also been a tradition to perform a dance presentation after the Silent Drill wherein the cadets would show their carefree selves; a stark contrast to their ‘snappy’ personas during tactical formations.
